Knoxville BMW 5 Series for Sale

The 528i comes equipped with a 3.0-liter engine that pushes 230 hp and 200 pound-feet of torque. The 535i features a twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter engine that produces 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The 550i pumps out 360 hp and 360 lb-ft of torque.All 5 series engines come standard with a six-speed manual, and a six-speed automatic is an option.

Standard safety equipment includes stability control, antilock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags and front-and-rear side-curtain airbags. Rear-seat side airbags are optional. A new optional lane departure system is now available which alerts the driver through a shaking steering wheel if the car starts to veer out of its lane.

General Overview

The BMW 5 series is available in sedan and wagon body styles. The sedan comes in three different trim levels, the 528i, 535i, and the 550i, with the optional all wheel drive feature on the 528i and 535i trim levels. The 528i features a 3.0- liter 230 horsepower engine, where as the 535i features a 3.0-liter 300 horsepower engine. The 550i is equipped with a 4.8-liter 360 horsepower engine. Every model comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic.

The interior offers a variety of options including, multicontour front seats, which adjust in seemingly infinite ways. A system called iDrive corrals audio The climate, navigation and communication functions use a central LCD screen and a console-mounted control dial.
